High School Season Rockin'
The warm weather is finally here and all our girls are getting busy with their high school teams. The good stories are already coming out in leaps in bounds:
Big props to Abby for her two run walk off homerun in the 8th inning to push her Bishop Fenwick team past Wakefield last week.
Angela tossed a two hitter in her season opener for Souhegan as they walked over Pelham.
Our Campbell girls are on fire with two wins already and SamBam is an RBI machine for the Cougars.
It was Jess and Delaney's Alvirne Broncos against Kate's Exeter Blue Hawks on Wednesday. Jess was pressed into action last minute when Alvirne's #1 could not go because of an injury. Without much of a warmup, she withstood some active Exeter bats (Kate rapped a single to left in the game) but was able to strike out 9 and walk only two as the Broncos came from behind to win their opener.
Looking forward to hearing about all of the successes on the high school diamond this spring.
